Mrs. Steele began her teaching career in Orlando, Florida as a 2nd grade teacher at an inner-city school.
Mrs. Steele moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1998 and began teaching 3rd grade. In 2007, she moved from the regular classroom to the Gifted and Talented Education program (GATE).
Mrs. Steele opened Doral Academy-Pebble as a 5th grade teacher; the following year she decided to move back to the GATE classroom to continue her teaching adventure.
Mrs. Steele has been best friends with her husband Kevin for over 20 years and happily married to him for 19 years. Mrs. Steele loves everything Disney (especially Pluto), Harry Potter, Calvin and Hobbes, logic puzzles, running, reading and spending time with her grandson.
